Happy Easter!

I hope all your Easter preparations are finished and you are enjoying a wonderful day with those you love.
We will be enjoying a barbecue  and Easter Egg hunt with the family at my brother and sister-in-law’s home. They have just recently, nearly completed a beautiful backyard remodel, complete with a huge stacked stone barbecue island, a fire pit and a gorgeous fountain. My backyard warming gift is going to be a Bocce Ball set! Can’t wait! P1000908 copyToday’s card, is for the newest challenge over at the Magnolia Stamp Lover’s Blog. The challenge is, get ready for this….flowers. I know! Too easy, right?  Guess who picked this challenge? Yep, me! :)

I thought I would just do a quick post to show you the card I made for my little pumpkin last week. It’s way, waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone, but I kind of like it!
On the inside of the card, I added a small voice recorder. So now, anytime Logan wants to hear Grandma and Papa Joe singing Happy Birthday to him,  he can. I’m sure his parents will be thrilled. :)

Here we are again.

So, this weekend was so jam packed that I had to come back to work to relax…. ;)
Yesterday, was my adorable grandson’s birthday party, and today is his actual birthday.
In four short years, he went from this
Logan's baby picture
to this!
Isn’t that just the cutest kid ever!

Hi there!

P1000810
Today, in Southern California, it looks just like Easter is around the corner. What a gorgeous day! Blue skies and not a cloud in sight, with highs in the mid 70’s. Sheer perfection!
Today’s card is for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Easter challenge.
I chose to use Tilda Carrying A Lamb. She’s a cutie, don’t you think? The background is a digital stamp from Make it Crafty and I think it works perfectly for an Easter card.
For information on my Easter basket, please see this post.P1000805

Hi there! I’m here today with a Easter project for Scrappy Frogs. I made a very simple Easter Basket, by following this tutorial on Splitcoast. It’s the perfect size for tucking in a few treats  for co-worker or neighbors.
I hope you will find the time to  stop by Scrappy Frogs , so that you can enter your Easter project into this months challenge and to see what the rest of the design team’s projects.

Good Morning!

I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday morning. For me…I’m relaxing on my couch, before heading out the door to spend the day with family. My very favorite thing to do.P1000794 copy
We have a Glitter Challenge at SSCC this month and you know I love bling! I made a card, by cutting a birdcage SVG file on my Cricut, sprayed the wire portion of the cage with adhesive and applied Martha Stewart glitter all over it. After that, I got down to the real fun of this project. The McGill Peony’s! Love, Love, Love!  The McGill Flower punches are such fun to work with. I just turned the TV on in the craft room last night and while watching Glee on DVD…I made these luscious Peonies…in purple! There is a very simple to follow video tutorial right here, that makes it all so very easy to do, too. P1000798 copy
