Use Your Favorite Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp

P1050029
Helloooooooooooooooooo there!! It’s Saturday…and that means….it’s time for a new challenge at the  Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog and I get to be the hostess…and that means…I pick the challenge too…so…to make it as easy as can be… I choose …the Use Your Favorite Kraftin' Kimmie Image Challenge. Smile Go ahead, admit it…you love me, huh? lol

My favorite KK stamp, for the moment is the fabulous Marilyn…Is she fun, or what? She kind of reminds me of my Mom. Something about the hair and the eyes, I think.
For my card, I paper pieced Marilyn’s dress with coordinating paper that matched the card and using my Copics, I shaded the dress too. All of the die cuts are from my Cameo, including the Eiffle Tower, which I glittered.
What do ya think? Are you ready to use your favorite Kraftin’ Kimmie image and enter the challenge? Oh my gosh!! Just wait till you see what the rest of the Krafty girls came up with THIS week!! You will LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!
Thank you so, so much for visiting!

Okey dokey!! It is time for a new Magnolia-licious Challenge and I see buttons. Do you see buttons?

So… I know I’ve professed my undying love for MANY certain Maggies in the past, but this time…I REALLY mean it!  I am just as smitten as can be!  Look how cute our Scooter Tilda is on her stylish little scooter and of course she has to have a matching helmet!!!
P1050046
Using a Doohickey Die, I popped a sentiment onto it and tucked it under a layer. I went with some non-traditional Fall colors, but by using the Kraft Cardstock, coloring my leaves in shades of teals, oranges and golds and adding an little acorn I was still hoping to give the card a Fall feel. So..what do you think? Did it work? SmileI even stamped a couple extra leaves and added them too!
I can’t wait to see what you do with our Inspiration photo…and please remember to stop by the Challenge Magnolia-licous Blog to see more inspiration from the rest of my fabulous team mates! Also...Diana has a wonderful new prize in store for the winner too!!

Well…hello there friends!! It’s Sheri…and I’m very happy to be able to share a little something I put together using the all new Kraftin Kimmie Trinkets stamp set!  Using festive Red Glitter Embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment to match the papers that were used to make my gift bag. My bag and all of it’s layers were cut on my Cameo. The sentiment however was simply punched out with a 1 3/4 inch punch.  I’m planning on tucking in a few home made cookies for a neighbor....planning being the idea here....;) I do love how easy this all went together. In fact, my head is swimming with ideas for these sweet Holidays Trinkets.
Thank you so very much for joining us today!

Today is the Day…

a dream comes true for me! For as long as I’ve been looking at crafty inspiration on-line, I have been completely head-over-hills-in-love with Magnolia stamps! Their totally darling, adorable style grabbed me right off the bat! From there, it wasn’t long until…I became obsessed with Magnolia-licious. I would spend hours and hours visiting the Magnolia-licious blogs and stalking the amazingly talented design team's inspiration. As my crafty obsession grew, so did my adoration of Diana Crick of Magnolia-licious.  I was even able to meet her a couple of times along with a few of the design team members, Sharon, Barb, Angie and Mindy and Suzanne. For me, it was like meeting celebrities!! However, every single one of them was as sweet and kind and humble as can be. As time went on, I began to dream about being on the Magnolia-licious team, never believing it would ever actually come true! I even wrote it down, because they say if you want to achieve something the best way to make that happen is to do just that!  Well…fast forward to today! My dream came true!!! Now, I get to play with the stamps I have loved for so long and right next to Diana’s fabulous Magnolia-licious Challenge Team!! I mean it!
Check out these names!!
Someone pinch me!!
Thank you so much
from the bottom of my heart Diana!!!!!!
I hope I can make you half as proud as you’ve made me happy!
OK! Enough of the gushing! hehe…

I was inspired by the soft shades of pinks and browns, so for my card, that was the direction I went, but you might be inspired by other colors in the photo. So, all you have to do it use any of the Magnolia stamps to create a project inspired by the photo and join in on the challenge. Just by doing so, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a Gift Certificate to the Magnolia-licious store from the very generous Lady Diana, which…by the way, just happens THE BEST place to buy Magnolia stamps, along with Magnolia, Marianne, Cheery Lynn, Memory Box Dies and so much more!
You will also want to stop by the rest of the Design team blogs for more inspiration....I know those girls are going to amaze you, just like they do me!!

It’s time for a Kraftin’ Kimmie challenge!

This week, our tremendously talented Krafty Girl, Jesse has challenged us all to use paper piecing on our project and I for one, happen to think Lulu is SO perfect for this technique! I paper pieced Lulu’s raincoat, umbrella and galoshes, (galoshes?) all in the same coordinating paper form the same paper pack, colored and shaded my image with Copics and added a bit of Glossy Accents.
OK you!!!  Winking smile All you have to do, is use any of the totally adorable Kraftin’ Kimmie images along with some paper piecing on your card and hop over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie blog to enter the challenge…AND just for doing that... you’ll be entered to win the super fun stamp that Krafty Girl Jesse used on her card! While you’re there, check out the other paper pieced cards from the rest of the Krafty Girls because those girl rock!!

Paper Play Fall Tags Challenge

Yep, Fall! I Know…ACK!!!
Our challenge over at the PaperPlay is to make a Fall Tag, and after mulling it over for some time, I thought it would be fun to make a Wine Tag/Gift Card Holder. The Wine Tag,the layer peeking out behind the tag and the pumpkin are all files from the Silhouette Store. I just picked some Fall-ish papers from my stash and got busy. Wouldn’t this be a fun idea for a hostess gift at Thanksgiving?
I hope you’ll join over at PaperPlay Challenges! :)
